9 for Wednesday!

1) We were very surprised to find out this week that our car was finally found! It was at an impound lot not to far from our house. I have to say that I was a little disappointed to hear that it has been returned to us, but we will have to deal with it.
2) Last week Gary went to go look at the car and found it in decent condition. The inside was completely trashed and torn up, but other then that there wasn't a lot of body damage.
3) On Monday Allstate towed our car to the mechanic so Gary and I went to the shop to tell them what new damages were there. It was raining and it took awhile to go through everything so we didn't get back to work till later in the day. Here are some pictures we took of the damage.

4) We had the missionaries over on Saturday to perform some service for us. We still have a hole in the back yard so they volunteer to help us dig it out. One of the missionaries Elder Carver called another set of missionaries, so soon we had 4 missionaries to help which was wonderful.

5) The missionaries came again on Monday to finish the job in the rain which we thought was just insane, but they weren't going to let anything stop them I guess.
6) With all the hard work they had done it was deep enough that we could finally start tearing down the retaining wall with a sledge-hammer. Here is the result so far.

Having some fun!

The end result!

7) Gary is still working diligently on the library.
8) I have a new calling already which I am pretty excited about. I have been called to be the new Choir Director! I've always wanted to do this so I am pretty excited to get started and learn how to lead a choir and have fun doing it.
9) That's all for this week!
